Heartbeat are a group of over 50 ladies, drawn from all kinds of backgrounds and lifestyles, who share an enthusiasm for making music and making people smile. We have been described as dynamic, entertaining, inspiring and dazzling. Under the direction of Nancy Kelsall, we sing a wide range of 4 part, unaccompanied harmony and our passion for singing is as important as our passion for socialising and having fun!

We are always looking for talented, enthusiastic and fun loving new members so why not come along to see if we are the sparkle that's missing from your life! Visitors are always welcome to our Thursday rehearsals, and our most recent "Singers Wanted" event saw 27 lovely ladies coming to see what we're all about.
We are the current European Bronze Medalist Female Chorus and 4-time UK Mid-Size Chorus Champions in Region 31 of Sweet Adelines International. You can watch our most recent contest performance below, where we competed against over 20 similar choirs.
Our repertoire spans from the folk classic "What Shall We Do With The Drunken Sailor", via "Anthem" from the musical Chess, to more contemporary numbers such as Van Morrison's acclaimed hit "Moondance", "These Boots Were Made For Walking", "Africa" and "Holding Out For A Hero". Within our larger choir are a number of quartets and ensembles, making us ideal for a full evening’s entertainment, or for smaller, more intimate events.
